Let the sea resound, and all that is in it; let the fields be jubilant, and
everything in them! Then the trees of the forest will sing, they will sing for joy
before the Lord, for He comes to judge the earth. Give thanks to the Lord,
for He is good; His love endures forever.
                                                                              —I Chronicles 16:32–34

Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send
some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is sacred to our Lord.
Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
                                                                                        —Nehemiah 8:10

Many are asking, “Who can show us any good?” Let the light of Your
face shine upon us, O Lord. You have filled my heart with greater joy than
when their grain and new wine abound. I will lie down and sleep in peace, for
You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.
                                                                                             —Psalm 4:6–8

The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul. The statutes of the Lord
are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The precepts of the Lord are right,
giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to
the eyes. The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever. The ordinances of
the Lord are sure and altogether righteous.
                                                                                            —Psalm 19:7–9

The grasslands of the desert overflow; the hills are clothed with gladness.
  The meadows are covered with flocks and the valleys are mantled with grain;
they shout for joy and sing.
                                                                                        —Psalm 65:12–13

There is deceit in the hearts of those who plot evil, but joy for those who
  promote peace.
                                                                                         —Proverbs 12:20

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so
that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
                                                                                           —Romans 15:13
